The opportunities available range from apprenticeships, distance learning, short courses and vocational subjects, all of which our specialist advisors can discuss a bespoke package to meet skills gaps and training needs within your business.
We also offer a free recruitment service to support you in sourcing new apprenticeship talent in your business. Our Learner Engagement Advisors advertise and recruit to your specification before handing the selection of suitable candidates over to you for consideration or to follow your normal selection process. Our whole approach is designed to complement your business and support you in developing a skilled, knowledgeable workforce.
Employer Engagement Advisors
Our team of Employer Engagement Advisors (EEA) are subject specialists that provide a business solutions service to support local and national businesses by providing bespoke training solutions. This can be by offering a recruitment service to fill apprenticeship vacancies or to discuss opportunities for employers to upskill and develop their existing workforce through apprenticeships, distance learning, short courses or vocational training.
The EEA’s also provide advice on funding and support levy and non-levy paying customers to make sure they are aware of financial support and grants available. EEA’s attend events and employer forums to promote our training offer to business in the local community.
MIRA Technology Institute
MIRA Technology Institute represents a unique partnership between North Warwickshire and South Leicestershire College, as the lead partner, HORIBA MIRA, Coventry University, Loughborough University and the University of Leicester. Located in the MIRA Technology Park near Nuneaton, the Institute provides a bespoke curriculum aimed at satisfying an ever increasing need for specialist skills in the UK automotive sector. The MTI has a particular focus on disruptive technologies, such as electrification and driverless cars, cultivating the skills necessary to operate at the cutting edge of automotive technology.
